Several months ago, when the interviews for the Kawamura Fellowship were getting underway at the Harvard Business School in Boston, I had only a very small idea of what the fellowship would entail. Looking back, I now understand what a truly amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity this program has been. 　I have left Japan with an impression of the country that no American tourist or business person could hope for in the same length of time. 　I feel like I have come to understand the Japanese people better, and I am eagerly awaiting my next trip to Japan.
